The Workshop aims to provide both quality and a affordable printing and finishing services to all students on campus. We carry a wide range of printing stock and can print from A4 sized documents up to A0 sized posters. Our binding service also helps put the finishing touches on all your assignments and folios. Our friendly staff will help ensure the work and effort you put into your assignments is evident in the final product.
Binding
The Workshop provides comb binding with a clear thermal cover and cardboard backing in a range of colours. We can bind documents up to approximately 375 pages in thickness. Bind your assignments with the Workshop to give them a professional and presentable look.
Photocopying + Scanning
The Workshop is equipped to produce a high quality photocopy in black and white, as well as colour for documents up to an SRA3 size. We can also transfer scanned documents and photographs up to 600 DPI to a USB or forward them through to an email address in a range of file formats.
Large Format Prints + Trim
The Workshop uses a high quality 160GSM, double-weight matte paper and ink jet printer to produce quality wide format prints in A0–A2 sized posters, as well as customised banners in both black and white and colour. The Workshop also provides an on-site guillotine available to students for free upon completion of their wide-format print. Please note this service experiences periods of peak demand throughout the semester, so feel free to chat to one of our friendly staff about your wide format print in advance of the due date.
Paper
We have a limited range of specialty papers supplied by Ball & Doggett that is available for you to purchase and print on. We have multiple weights from 90gsm–300gsm, ranging from uncoated recycled to coated paper stock that you can choose from.
Vinyl Printing
The Workshop now offers vinyl printing services for all your sticker needs from product labels to wayfinding signage. We produce high quality, full colour, custom printed vinyl stickers in any shape or size. Although we can provide a fast turnaround for most stickers, please note this service is not on the spot. Document Printing
The Workshop also assists with your every day printing needs including lecture notes, lecture slides and assignments.
You can visit the Workshop with your documents loaded onto a USB or forward them through to our email —workshop@monsu.org for collection upon arrival.
Online Submissions
The Workshop will soon be accepting online submissions of printing. Submit your prints online through the MONSU Caulfield website — monsu.org/workshop. Please ensure your file is in a PDF format and all the relevant print details and instructions are supplied and our staff will ensure it is ready for collection upon arrival.
